When Judith Met Theo 2011 Directed by Penelope Knockout

An animated short comedy/satire in B-movie style. It is a comment on the treatment of lesbians in film, and in a broader sense, the intolerance towards gays-lesbians-bisexuals in mainstream society. The film follows Judith as she discovers she is gay. She turns to popular films at her local video store to educate her about what it means to be a lesbian. What she discovers horrifies her. She is distraught to find out (as the movies she takes home to watch imply) that if she loves women she must also, by default, be a killer. Luckily she meets Theo who helps save the day. The film references murder scenes from actual key feature films from the 1990s.
