Un Nuevo Trabajo 2007 Directed by Miguel Serebrenik
An unemployed man lives with the constant disdain of his wife and those around him in general. From one second to the next, he finds practically magical solutions to his financial problems and notices around him that people in Argentina have forgotten the meaning of evils such as inflation and poverty. This will change his relationship with those around him and plunge him into a sea of doubt and confusion. Now the big question is: why is everything so good? This short film is a comic and ironic metaphor for how we Argentines are governed by the discourse of power, as ridiculous as it may be.
