Trees in Reverse (Outtakes from Medea) 2025 Directed by Eloy Gurucharri
During 2021 I directed a short film adaptation of Medea. For the climax of the short, Medea suffers a mental breakdown for which I shot this, among other stuff. I went to Casa de Campo with a mini DV and shot the trees with a negative filter, looking for images that could resemble a brain and its internal connections breaking. This short includes most of that tape, with a tune I composed with an electric organ slowed down.
