The Double Incarnation of William Sheep 1913 Directed by Georges-André Lacroix L'incarnation de William Sheep

A young gambler plays a game of chess against his creditor in order to clear his debts. Whilst playing he falls into a dream where he encounters a mysterious man who has the power to take his identity. This 1913 French film followed hot on the heels of the similarly themed German classic "The Student of Prague". For many years believed to be a lost film, this is no longer the case.
