Swells 景恒游记 joined three habitats by water - Xi-Guan, Guangzhou; You-Yang, Chongqing; Mono Lake, California - which were transformed or refurbished into tourist attractions. While the long distances in between persist, yearning musings still ripple through the landscapes. The concept of home and its associated longing is, to use a borrowed expression, inexpressible except through distant evocations and hints.
