Ukrainian musicologist Stanislav Nevmerzhitsky has been researching the history and theory of classical music and the work of contemporary Ukrainian classical composers for over 10 years. He has now decided to study the work of Ukrainian composer Maksym Shalygin. Shalygin is one of a young generation of composers who have achieved considerable success in Europe and Ukraine.
