On January 16, 2022, Mexican sex worker and trans activist Natalia Lane survived an attempted transfeminicidio by Alejandro Sanchez Lopez. Three years later, on the anniversary of her attempted femicide, Natalia organized an action in Mexico City to hold the local Mexican government accountable for allowing Alejandro to await further sentencing on house arrest. She was met with a counter-protest, calling her an opportunist, delinquent, and a liar. During the action, Natalia found a way to repurpose rage and materialize justice through collective and catharsis.
