Magadan - Stadt erbaut auf Knochen 2016

The city of Magadan in north-eastern Siberia. It is the gateway to the Kolyma region, an area with large gold deposits. The inhumane labor camps of the Gulag system were concentrated here under Lenin and Stalin. The only highway to Magadan is popularly known as the Bone Road - because of the corpses carelessly buried beneath it. It is an anonymous cemetery of asphalt.
