Lovanium 1959

In 1954, on the Moamba plateau near Leopoldville, the Catholic University of Louvain commissioned the construction of the interracial Lovanium University. The film follows the construction of the complex (professors' villas, student dormitories, faculty buildings). It also shows the type of teaching provided, as well as the infrastructure (laboratories, workshops, recreation rooms and canteen).
