Some of Pakistan’s most remote Himalayan valleys are home to the Kalash community, who follow an ancient, pre-Islamic faith. In recent years, the Kalash population has dwindled to only 4000 as increasing numbers are converted to Islam. Can the community survive, or does it face cultural extinction?
