Krenek: Kehraus um St. Stephan 2008

John Axelrod conducts the Symphonieorchester Vorarlberg in this production of Ernst Krenek's opera "Kehraus um St. Stephan," starring Roman Sadnik as a suicidal cavalry officer who finds new hope working in the vineyards of a winemaker (Albert Pesendorfer). As an interfering businessman (Sebastian Holecek) falls victim to his own devious schemes, the cavalryman also finds a chance to reconcile with his former lover (Elisabeth Flechl).
