Two young children expect that in the future life will bring them in contact with the unique and absolute love. They are both convinced that he exists and will meet him. Indeed at some point they meet by chance. But fate will not let them live it. The boy dies and the girl puts her life on hold, waiting to see him again. This will never happen. The film marks (shows) the role of predestined fate (eimarmeni) and how it affects our lives. The soul knows the truth but it may not materialize in this life.
