Having a distinct culture, heritage and language it became a Union Territory on January 21, 1972. Divided into three districts, Mizoram's capital city is Aizwal. This film describes the agricultural wealth of Mizoram, various measures taken by the Government of India to uplift people's standard of living. The hilly territory has a rich tradition of weaving.
