Cycling Heartlands: Girona 2022

Girona might be little known to anyone outside of the cycling world, but this small city north of Barcelona has become the European capital of cycling in the last twenty years. Hundreds of pro riders live there, and tens of thousands of keen amateurs visit for their holidays each year. In this episode of GCN+ ‘Heartlands’, local resident and professional cyclist Mitch Docker takes us on a fun-filled tour of this ‘playground of the pros’, meeting former and current racers like David Millar, Christian Meier, and Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, along with a few locals who’ve embraced the two-wheeled invasion!
