Charles Voisin. Flight Experiments over the Seine 1905 Charles Voisin: Flugversuche auf der Siene

Charles Voisin conducted flight tests with his airplanes, which were equipped with floats, on the Seine River near Billancourt. These tests took place in 1905 and made Billancourt an early center for seaplane technology. Later models, such as the Voisin Hydro Canard, were also tested on the Seine and took part in seaplane gatherings.
