A contemporary narrative told via a history of cinema. The protagonist returns home, changed, while the titular Hero (cinema), evolves before our eyes (and ears). Though the narrative takes place in modern times, the way in which the story is told begins with the dawn of moving pictures and progresses through the various cinematic innovations up to 1910.
